Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the sports of combat. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing, and wrestling prior to her professional debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd then went on to win three fights consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated had been defeated in the first minute. Ladd returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen in a unanimous vote. The loss put a mark on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. The InvictaFC11 fight was her first professional fight. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. She won her next fight with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed the strong abilities she acquired in wrestling to defeat McGill. She ended the fight with a an KO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to put on the weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy by using TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimity. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place in UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina as she ground-and-pound beat her to an TKO victory in the 2nd round. Her next fight, against Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the opening round. She also received the bonus for performance of evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos anjos-lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was her first fight that she's ever had in any significant role. Ladd took home the night's main event fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in an intense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended her winning streak. The third time she fought on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In a match that was a replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was a unanimous decision.
