As part of the investigation into the death by shooting of Terrell Sims one man was charged as an accomplice following the actuality of murder. Investigators from the Columbia Police Department were searching diligently for Sims after he was reported missing on the night of Christmas Eve. They detained Taylor Wardlaw to investigate his murder. According to the authorities, Eddie Brown (aged 30) is accused of playing a role in the murder. Sims is a 26-year-old male, was last seen in Columbia on Dec. 20 at Ervin Street. According to police, Sims was the girlfriend of Wardlaw declared him missing December. 22. It was reported that the body of Sims was found this week near Monticello Road. Naida Ruterford the Richland County Coroner announced the body had been located. Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook says Wardlaw is charged with murder and possessing an firearm in a violent crime. Police say Sims was shot dead multiple times. According to the Columbia Police Department released the following tweet asking the community for assistance.
