Stevie WonderStevland Morris (ne Judkins, May 13, 1950) also known as Stevie Wonder is an American singer-songwriter from the United States. It is said that he is recognized as the first to pioneer a wide range of genres, including blues and rhythm jazz, gospel, soul gospel, and funk. Wonder, who was a solo artist that used synthesizers for the creation of electronic music in the 1970s. This changed the R&B genre. Wonder also helped in the rise of genres like R&B during the album era. His albums were cohesive and consistent and socially conscious declarations that had complex music. Wonder, who was blind at the time of his birth, signed with Motown's Tamla label when he was just 11. In the Tamla label, he was awarded the name of a professional artist, Little Stevie Wonder. Wonder's famed critical success was at its highest in the 1970s. His "classic" period started in 1972, with Music of My Mind and Talking Book.
